Paula Ormsby - Pou Tautoko a Rohe
Paula has a rich background as an educator. From tutoring young children, to establishing a Women’s Chapter within the Mongrel Mob Gang, Paula is committed to supporting the educational and social needs of those around her. She brings her first hand experience into academic spheres to influence and implement systematic change at grassroots level.
In 2017 she spoke at a conference in Calgary, Canada as part of a panel at a street gang symposium.
She was a panelist at the conference ‘Sites of survivance in violent colonial spaces N.A.I.S.A.’ in 2018
And in 2021, she facilitated the N.Z. Evidence Based Policing Centre Conference, delivering her expertise on ‘The Disenfranchised Warrior’.
